Brittany has many quaint towns and villages. The cottage and farmhouse at Caurel lay between the ancient market towns of Pontivy and Loudeac. 'Les Granges' is situated in rolling countryside near the village of Mur de Bretagne on the border of the Cotes d'Armor and Morbihan regions of Brittany. Lake Guerledan is only 10 minutes walk from the cottage through some beautiful woodland and a further 15 minutes walk following the edge of the lake brings you to Beau Rivage.
Beau Rivage has a first class restaurant as well as two other bar/restaurants serving pizzas and local food and drink.
There are also pedaloes and canoes for hire and regular passenger boats offer trips around the lake with some wonderful views.
