Traditional French Cottage and FarmhouseIdeal holiday accommodation, set in tranquil, picturesque and wooded rural hamlet. Les Granges comprises a seperate fully self contained two storey Cottage and adjacent Farmhouse. Located in the centre of Brittany, in close proximity to beautiful Lake Guerledan with its wonderful walks and host of activities. 
The quiet hamlet of Les Granges is situated within easy reach of the sleepy village of Caurel (approx. 1km) which boasts a hotel with a friendly bar/restaurant and the "Auberge de Guerledan" restaurant, serving authentic french cuisine. A short drive away (approx 5 mins) is the small town of Mur de Bretagne. Here you will find shops, bars, restaurants and tourist information among many other things. The market towns of Pontivy and Loudeac are also within close proximity. The property has been sensitively restored using traditional materials by local artisans. The building dates back almost 200 years. The exterior walls are of traditional Breton stone and, where possible, the interior beams have been left exposed. Facilities include, table tennis, table football and darts. There are books available as well as a library of videos and D.V.D.'s. |
