Les Granges is set in a tranquil and picturesque wooded rural hamlet. It is a period holiday cottage that has been sensitively restored using traditional materials by local artisans.

The building dates back almost 200 years. The exterior walls are of traditional Breton stone and where possible, the interior beams have been left exposed. Located in the centre of Brittany, in close proximity to the beautiful Lake Guerledan, with its wonderful walks and host of activities.

The quiet hamlet of Les Granges is situated within easy reach of the sleepy village of Caurel (approx. 1km) which boasts a hotel with a friendly bar/restaurant. There is also a small convenience shop which caters for British tastes.

A short drive away (approx 5 mins) is the small town of Mur de Bretagne. Here you will find shops, bars, restaurants and tourist information among many other things. The market towns of Pontivy and Loudeac are also within close proximity.
